Sophie interned as the Gender Analyst for World Food Programme's country office in Rwanda. Through integrating gender into their monitoring, reporting, and programming, Sophie aimed to ensure that WFP's programs increase gender equality. Sophie was conducting gender and age analyses of food security in the country, developing qualitative monitoring tools for the office, and conducting interviews and focus groups throughout the country.
