Guadalupe Dorna

Guadalupe interned with Dar Si-Hmad, an independent non-profit organization in South-West Morocco. Dar Si-Hmad was launching a major development project in order to provide drinking water to Amazigh communities living in the Anti-Atlas Mountains and relieve women from an average of 3.5 hours a day spent fetching water. As part of Guadalupe’s internship, she worked with a filmmaking team to capture via camera the promise that such a project carries for Amazigh people. Guadalupe also worked with Dr. Jamila Bargach (director at Dar Si-Hmad) to produce an assessment on the potential opportunities for women in these communities.
