National Women’s Law Center, Washington, D.C. July 23 – September 6
Caitlin Pratt

Caitlin worked for Deborah Carsten this summer on employment and education issues at the National Women’s Law Center. The exact substance of her work depended on the legislative agenda and politics at the time, such as: affirmative action for women, equal pay, women in the military, pregnancy & parenting, sexual harassment & bullying, single sex education, and Title IX. She wrote articles and fact sheets, commented on proposed federal agency regulations, prepared Congressional testimony, researched legislative history, wrote briefs, drafted complaints, and attended court, Executive Branch, and Congressional proceedings. Caitlin increased her knowledge on advocating for women’s rights at the intersection of law and policy.
