Alyson Gounden Rock
Alyson Gounden Rock is a Research Fellow with the Women and Public Policy Program and Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School supporting and collaborating with Hannah Riley Bowles on research related to career negotiations and enhancing capacity for leadership across differences.
Alyson’s professional work experienceas a strategy consultant with Bain and PwC and as an entrepreneur informs her research interest in career reentry and the role of improvising/job crafting on career ascent in formal and informal employment contexts. She has researched global board diversity for Catalyst’s Government Affairs team, is an accredited contributor on Huffington Post and tweets actively on gender equality research.
Alyson has an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, an MA in Business Administration from Audencia Business School (France) and a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.
