WAPPP Leader in Practice and Executive Director of UN Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka says that, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the notion that a "woman’s place" is in the home has come back in an "aggressive way." She warns of a “lost generation of girls” as a result of women bearing much of the burden of the pandemic’s financial fallout.
