European Conference 2020 - The World is Watching

Date:

Fri - Sun, Mar 6 to Mar 8, 7:00am - 9:00pm

Location:

Harvard Kennedy School

Bringing together more than 450 students, 60+ key decision-makers from both the public and the private sector and academics, the conference will have a range of panels on governance, foreign policy, business & innovation, economics & trade, and culture and society. In addition to panels and masterclasses, the conference hosts a gala and many cultural events throughout the weekend.

This year’s theme is “The world is watching,” as Europe is in the process of defining and establishing its place in a world of transitioning power balances and shifting dynamics within and outside of the EU.

Join the biggest student-run event on Europe in the U.S. and meet, listen to and discuss with world leaders, including among others Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović (President of Croatia), Federica Mogherini (Former Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy) and António Vitorino (Director General of the International Organization for Migration and Former European Commissioner for Justice and Home Affairs). And be sure not to miss the renowned black-tie gala at the Harvard Museum of Natural History!
